Deuce Nickle Tre

Last weekend we went to good old Washington just for Bryce's friend's funeral. It was the first one i've been to and it was rough, sad, but we're really glad we went. It was also my first time at the famous Puyallup Fair. I tried learning the song but all I remember is 'you can do it in a gallup... something something... 'do the Puyallup!' Many things were learned on this trip, for example, I learned scones are really biscuits with jam, and what I thought were scones are actually called fry bread. Bryce learned that continental breakfast does NOT mean breakfast from multiple continents, nor is it an international breakfast. Although our continental breakfast did have waffles.. which may or may not have been Belgium, we'll never know.
We also got to go to Curtis High's Homecoming football game and Bryce relived his glory days. Bentley rode in the little parade in place for Bizik and we almost ate an entire 1700 pound bag of cheese balls.
Thank you Fair for your corn dogs, soft serve ice cream, the best nature tee ever made, a salsa maker, and thank you Washington for your beautiful weather, family, the sound, and for making me consider calling you home.

My Girl

This may be corny and sappy, but I want to tell you all about why my girl is the best.

1. She still has her inner child in her...

Above we see how she tries to still be young and love the Jo Bros who are 15.

2. Nad loves the little things in life...

Last fall we were walking and Nad stopped dead in her tracks to look at the trees with the leaves that had changed colors. She helps me appreciate things I don't normally see.

3. Some might call her worldly, but I'd say she's well cultured...

(This is a view from Paris from the top of the Eifel Tower that she took)

4. We like to cook together...

She is my own personal Giada

5. She loves good music...

The first night I knew I really liked Nad we talked about our love for Bon Iver. I knew right then that this girl was legit.

6. Last but not least, she lets me know that she loves me...

She is beautiful, she is fun, she makes me laugh, she lets me know that I am loved. She is the reason for the season. I hope I become more like her as we get older. I am lucky and she is cute. My girl Nadia

Pilot

The first thing you do when you get married- change your status and name on facebook. (Side note..This was a dilema for me more info later.) Second thing you do.. start a blog, so here it is! This is our midnight premier or pilot if you will. Another thing that happened when we got married, Netflix. This perhaps is why pilot is the first thing on my mind because i've watched the pilot for many  television shows. Including The Office, which I have already seen every episode yet there is a need to watch them again and again. They are probably more and more funny everytime. Also this has led to me referring every situation to an episode. I hope Bryce doesn't get sick of me. Or sick of Michael. Things wouldn't be the same without him. (Michael that is.)

So facebook. First I was Nadia Woodhouse, then I started to miss my family one day and felt like I had abandoned my familiy name passed down through the sahara dessert and immediately switched it to Nadia Najdawi Woodhouse. Oh my long.. that is 21 characters, people might fall asleep reading it. But just like Tevia said, tradition is tradition. Chudri would agree.

Bryce is really excited about this blog, meaning the next post is up to him. What it is.
